Alex Ruthmann

I'm a music educator and researcher at UMass Lowell working with children and students in elementary through graduate school. I use Scratch as a platform for musical live coding (creating and performing live music improvisations with Scratch code) and using a Scratch/PicoBoard derivative (the IchiBoard) with students in designing new electronic musical instruments with which to perform using Scratch.
